The Chapter Six Service Committee is holding an extraordinary Chapter Six Service Meeting at 9.45pm The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss whether the Over the Mountain Ride (Omeo) will go ahead given the uncertainty of the conditions in the region due to bushfires.

Shepparton chapter AA Group to meet up @ Wallan 10:30am. PLAN: As riders will be tagging along with the other riders along the way Riders to make their own way to from Shepparton area to the Wallan McDonalds to meet together @ 10:30am, refuel, coffee & regroup and then leave @ 11:00am and ride through to the Ring road and follow through over the West Gate Bridge and pull into Hungry Jacks. Other members in the Melbourne area can meet up at the Westgate Melbourne bound side Hungry Jacks and join in the ride. All the Chapter Six riders will then ride together to the Convention @ 489 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne – Jasper Hotel.

Bendigo Chapter Six AA group plan to leave Bendigo @ 08:00am PLAN: Riders meet at the Bendigo McDonalds - main St Bendigo – near the fountain. The group will ride from Bendigo along the Calder Hwy through to Calder Roadhouse arriving approx. 10:00am, refuel, coffee & re-group. Leave Calder road house @ 10:30am and ride through to Ring road turn off and follow the Ring road over the West Gate Bridge and pull into Hungry Jacks. Other members in the Melbourne area can meet up at the Westgate Melbourne bound side Hungry Jacks and join in the ride. All the Chapter Six riders will then ride together to the Convention @ 489 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne – Jasper Hotel.

People traveling from main land Australia who wish to attend the weekend rally only can catch the ferry on Thursday evening15th March from Melbourne. Once off the ferry will meet up with other Chapter Six members on Friday 16th March at the café near the Ferry terminal in Devonport. Chapter six will then ride as a group to St Helens to attend the AA weekend rally. Some Chapter Six members and others that are not AA members who are motorcycle enthusiasts, will be going to Tasmania on a Ferry leaving Melbourne on March 7th 2018. We plan to ride around Tasmania for a week prior to meeting up with those who will arrive at Devonport on Friday 16th March. The plan is to ride back to Devonport after the Sunday Morning meeting back to the ferry terminal.
