We’re hosting a new AA Women’s Weekend and would love to see you there.

What: AA Hobart Women’s Weekend

When: 21-23 June 2024

Where: Girl Guides Tasmania Orana Guide Camp

Address: 146 Roches Beach Road, Roches Beach, TAS 7170

Start at 5:00 PM on Friday

Finish at 12:00 PM on Sunday

Price: $130 (+Eventbrite fee)

Meals, meetings, 7th tradition, fun, meditations, well-stocked fire, karaoke, dancing, warm connection with like-minded people, recovery and hope, and even an early morning dip in the ocean are included.

Bring bedding, toiletries, towels, a pillow, a hot water bottle, earplugs, warm clothes, a swimsuit (or not) and snacks. Although, we will have plenty of snacks available. Bring ca$h because we will be selling AA books.

Let us know if you’d like to lead a yoga or meditation session, teach others a skill or be of service during the weekend. We celebrate all of ourselves through the weekend with the help of our Higher Power, the AA program, and the female fellowship of AA.

The dormitory has either two or four bunk beds per room. You will have access to numerous showers and toilets, a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious dining room featuring a cozy fireplace. The meeting room is heated for comfort, but bringing a blanket may still be good.

If you wish to stay together, please remember to indicate this while registering. Space is limited, so we advise registering as soon as possible.
