This is a topic meeting which is open to anyone who wishes to get sober and stay sober, particularly those who are atheist, agnostic or not sure what they believe! We share our stories of what we used to be like, what happened and what we are like now. By doing this we share our experience, strength and hope with each other in order to stay sober and gain ongoing recovery. We do not endorse or oppose any system of belief. We support one another in fellowship and encourage freedom of expression and thought. Or just check-in on your week. All are welcome.

The Shivering Denizens One, Daily AA Meeting
East Gippsland
Shivering Denizens One is a daily online AA meeting, open 365 days a year.
We gather for open sharing, focusing on Experience, Strength, and Hope, guided by the wisdom found on page 151 of The Big Book.
All that’s needed to join us is a desire to stop drinking.
Whether you’re just beginning your journey or have been in recovery for many years, you’ll find a compassionate and supportive community amongst us.
Our group offers a safe and nurturing space where everyone can share honestly, connect with others who understand, and draw strength from fellowship. Together, we support one another, celebrate progress, and walk side by side on the path of recovery.
Much appreciation and many thanks to our meetings founder - David G for setting up this meeting in May 2020, during the covid pandemic of which SD1 is still going strong today.
