We just opened registrations for the Serenity in Samford weekend being held on 22-24 November, 2024.
Samford Village is less than 30 minutes northwest of Brisbane CBD. A picturesque and hilly area, Samford was first settled in the mid-1850s and is now a place many hobby farmers call home, being one of the closest semi-rural acreage townships to Brisbane.

We’ve just released the program too, we think it’s going to be an amazingly rich weekend of fun, growth and fellowship.

The Alcoholics Anonymous Australia 80th Anniversary Whitsundays Celebration Cruise Committee are thrilled to announce that Oz Cruising have successfully moved all cruisers across to the new date of February 15, 2025 (instead of March).
A heartfelt thank you to everyone for your understanding and flexibility regarding the change in date.
This new date did not work for some and has freed up a few cabins, so there’s still an opportunity for others to join us onboard as part of the celebrations for 80 years in Australia, with the inaugural Whitsundays cruising rally.Interested parties please email dayel.d@ozcruising.com

Brisbane-Whitsunday and return (4 nights) February 15-18 2025
Announcing Australia’s inaugural sober cruise, marking a milestone event for Alcoholics Anonymous down under.
Originally planned pre-Covid-19 with 197 members signed up for the inaugural “Friends Of Bill” Cruise, which unfortunately had to be cancelled. However, with meticulous reporting to the AA Secretary, we’ve been granted the opportunity to relaunch the cruise as part of Alcoholics Anonymous’ 80th Anniversary celebrations. Mark your calendars for March 18-22, 2025, as we embark on this unforgettable journey aboard the P&O Pacific Encounter, departing from Brisbane to Whitsundays and back. With the cruise strategically scheduled just before the National Convention in Sydney (the main event for our 80th celebrations), overseas and traveling visitors can maximize their experience by attending both historic AA events. We aim to unite 400 AA, Alanon, and family members for this four-day voyage.
Professional travel agents, Ozcruising will exclusively handle all bookings, ensuring a seamless process. Don’t miss out on this incredible cruising opportunity —secure your tickets early as they’re selling fast!
