This meeting has been running for over 20 years. Originally called the Showbiz meeting, it was created for performers and actors to preserve anonymity in the industry. For the latter years the meeting has broadened, and we welcome everyone who seeks a meeting in the City of Melbourne.

Melbourne Agnostic, Atheist, Freethinkers
The room will be open 10 minutes before the meeting starts to "Greet Members" and 10 minutes after the end of the meeting for post meeting fellowship.
We make our way through the Big Book, starting at the Doctor’s Opinion and continuing through the first 5 chapters. Each week, someone will read a passage from the Big Book and then share for 5-10 minutes. Others will then share for approx. 5 minutes.
Fellowship/chat for 10-15 minutes before and after the meeting.
For security, meeting room is locked at 9:50 am.
This is an ID meeting which is open to anyone who wishes to get sober and stay sober, particularly those who are atheist, agnostic or not sure what they believe! We share our stories of what we used to be like, what happened and what we are like now. By doing this we share our experience, strength and hope with each other in order to stay sober and gain ongoing recovery. We do not endorse or oppose any system of belief. We support one another in fellowship, and encourage freedom of expression and thought. All are welcome.
